I can’t believe it’s almost exactly a year ago that I signed my work contract with JAXA! It’s been a wonderful year of adventures and frustrations, a year of meeting amazing new friends, learning how to navigate life as an illiterate person, and last but not least a whole year of admiring Japan’s incredibly photogenic sights.
The rainy season has enveloped Tokyo in shades of dull gray this week – but it has also given me the chance to sift through my long backlog of photos, and remember all the colorful times. So, for this blog post, I’ve picked one photo representing each color, and a bonus picture representing the rainbow – all taken in Japan, and all taken within the past year. Hope you enjoy the selection!
