On the third spring of living in Japan, I finally made it to Kyoto during the peak cherry blossom season. The beauty of the delicate flowers against the backdrop of Kyoto’s famous traditional architecture and old temples definitely make it worth the trip, although it was uncomfortably busy and the city’s infrastructure was clearly challenged by the increased influx of tourists during this very popular period. Still, I hope you enjoy the results!
